Australian tree fern huge palm like fronds, unfurl from the top dark brown, densely fibrous trunks. Great for growing in pots, where they can be given winter protection. Keep in dappled shade and shower the trunk with rainwater to keep moist in summer. Feed monthly with liquid seaweed fertiliser, by liberally showering the trunk and pouring water into the top, allowing it to spill down the trunk and into the pot.
